Have Move...Will Quilt!

We have now moved from Indiana to Virginia. My husband is the best man ever! We moved in over 100 degree heat there and then in Virginia. He just kept at it, never complaining. He set up my longarm over the first weekend we were moving in. We only have room for her "suziebell" in our living room in the sweet retro type 50's home we are renting for now. My goal this week is to get one of the tops I made last fall in the RV while in Vermont LOADED and quilted. I will show you the evidence that it really is set up! Quilted Blessings!! Kari

Cowboy Heavenly Babe

What a pure bundle of JOY!! Our Cowboy quilt made it to the doorstep of some sweet friends of our sons' in Russia...we thought he might need a little Cowboy Dreams in the St Petersburg landscape. Our friend is saying that getting a quilt in Russia is just a real special treat and does not happen that often, so that makes this little babes journey even more unique. He already has a Russian Mama that is beautiful inside and out and he has a American Papa that is remarkable in so many ways, and now a great father too. So, we jumped up and down today when we saw the babe enjoying our creation. It could not have come on a better day, as we are still looking for nursing positions here in Indiana....a hard nut to crack this time! God is so very good though....our Joy..... I have been busy sewing dresses just lately. Currently, I am starting a Birdie Quilt for our youngest Grandgal Amelia, better know as Millie, or Millipede....she is a live wire that never stop moving!! But, for now thequiltshow.com just posted this wonderful set of pictures of a Red and White Quilt Show held in NYC.
