See Jane Run....

Just a short note today!! I spent my day getting some groceries, putting them away and trying to decide what pattern I want to use with my American Jane fabric that I recently received. I discovered a hand quilting that I had found on You Tube in the Spring of 2011. I had a keen interest then too in the fabric and getting it that special look that can go with it. I put together just layer cakes last week and put a simple 3 colored border on it. I am going down to my studio soon to load that up....I will add the picture later. But I really want to mention a blog I also recently was blessed to find. http://www.diaryofaquilter.com/ is just too sweet. I love the quilting group I am sure oohing and ahing over the quilts on display by the quilters. Please take a minute and catch her blog. It is sweet. Quilted Blessings......Kari......see Jane Run! yes, my Dear Jane is spread on my hardwoods.....it is large! am going to Love It, don't you think?

Bloomington to Plymouth.....

Life is full of twists and turns!! We traveled to work in Virginia for 6 months and then in Bloomington for 6 months. While in Bloomington we enjoyed living close to our son and his family. But, our cabin lost its' renters and so we moved North to settle back into the walls of the cabin that we built. Maybe, we just needed time away from it so we could come back and claim it. So, we are here now. All our kids and families came to our sons' town before we moved north and we had a good time in our little rental home there!!!
We spent a few months moving back into our cabin, including my quilt shop. My hub is working on a plane in the shop and now has an Intellicarver that we hope he will be able to perfect his work to combine with my quilting for our retirement.
When your mind stays in the Imaginary right side you will never have to worry about drifting over into the left side where you encounter more old memories than dreams of the future! Just some brain trivia for those over 60!! Call me if you need any help with your quilting or write me at ksflick@gmail.com! Quilted Blessings!!! Karen
